For nearly two centuries, Perry & Phillips has stood at the heart of Bridgnorth life, a trusted, family-run funeral directors serving generations of local families with dignity, compassion, and care.
Our story began just outside the town, in Worfield, where the Adams family first established themselves in funeral service many generations ago. Those early beginnings in a small Shropshire village shaped the values that continue to guide us today: kindness, respect, and a genuine desire to serve our community.
As Bridgnorth grew, so too did Perry & Phillips. We moved our head office to Quay House on Underhill Street, where we continue to operate today, a place where many local families come for comfort, guidance, and a familiar face during life’s most difficult times.
Being part of Bridgnorth isn’t just where we’re based, it’s who we are. We are a Bridgnorth family, proud of our roots and deeply connected to this community. We’ve supported local schools, charities, remembrance events, and community initiatives for decades, always striving to give something back to the community.
